I like this photo. Don't know exactly why, given the fact that it's far from being the perfect selfie. My hair doesn't have a fresh fade. My eyes look somehow tired. But my smile creeps in. I still have a bit of my Saudi Arabian sun tan, glowing in the golden hour. There's the sea, constant background of the past three months, constant element in my life for the past ten years. This photo says I'm somehow at peace, also with this complicated year we have been going through, full of highs and lows, months of unemployment, doubts and uncertainties. It says "it's all written on the lines of my face, but at the end I'm the winner". Even when I break down, even when it gets tough. I still am.
