Yes, I do love Covent Garden, for many, many reasons. Before deciding to move to London, everytime I came here as a visitor this place was the first one I wanted to see. The market, the street artists, the side arcades, the smell of warm food, the mellow light coming from the glass ceiling... And those Christmas baubles that used to be red and in recent years turned silver 🙂 Such a lovely place, that brings back so many memories. .

This past year taught me a lot. I came back to London with a new found positivity and determination. With the maturity that came probably with age (😄) I now fully embrace who I am and what I want from life, without feeling overwhelmed. I still need to work on my tendency to procrastinate, but hey, I'm a summer child, I was born when everybody's on holiday with a drink in their hand 😄 These are my December thoughts, while I wrap up in my winter coat and enjoy the beauty of this city where I chose to live 7 years ago now. .
